Urban Parks and Greenspaces
There is a great need for outdoor and gardening enthusiasts to help maintain numerous urban parks and greenspaces throughout the city and close to downtown. Are you or is your organization looking for ways to volunteer outdoors? Is your company looking for a team-building opportunity? Does your scout troop need a service outing? Maintain urban landscapes • Clean up a wooded area • Pull honeysuckle and other invasive plants • Plant flowers and trees • Adopt a park area • Build a bridge • Build a trail

Cincinnati Mayor's Corporate Challenge
For the past six years, companies from the Greater Cincinnati area have met a challenge issued by Cincinnati Mayor Mark Mallory to provide a small army of volunteers to dig in and clean up downtown, and make a big difference.
Since its inception in 2007, eighteen companies have sent thousands of employees to core urban Parks areas in the downtown area, including Washington Park in Over-The-Rhine, the waterfront parks, Smale Riverfront Park, Eden Park and more! Volunteers come from corporations such as GE Aviation, The Home Depot, Duke Energy, Ethicon Endo Surgery, Humana, Toyota, PNC Bank, Fifth Third Bank, U.S. Bank, Kao USA Inc, The Nielsen Company, and many, many more!

Are you a BBQ enthusiast? Volunteer for the major BBQ event in the mid-west, "Rivergrill Before the Big Chill!" The event is Cincinnati's first Kansas City Barbeque Society sanctioned contest with with over $20,000 in cash prizes!
